BOWdometer Ambassador Sara Lopez wins gold at the Hyundai World Cup in Paris

Lopez inks her spot in the World Cup finals later this year with a strong win over her teammate to top the podium.

PARIS, FR., June 26, 2021 – BOWdometer Ambassador Sara Lopez has beat out her teammate Alejandra Usquiano to win gold at the Hyundai Archery World Cup in Paris. It was a bittersweet win for Lopez, as she defeated her own teammate in the gold medal match. They both had very strong rounds and Lopez had to come from behind to win in the final few arrows.

This tournament is the third instalment of the World Cup series, with the final instalment set to take place in Yankton, South Dakota in the US in September. Only a select few archers qualify for the final round, which includes both Compound and Recurve archers competing for gold.

Lopez, who is one of the top ranked compound archers in the world holding several World Records, joined the BOWdometer Ambassador team in early 2021, joining an esteemed group of archers from around the world who use BOWdometer and share their experience with others.

"The BOWdometer Ambassador Program is built to help archers of all ages, skill levels and aspirations to see themselves reflected in our group of archers," said Marianne Bell, COO of Toxon Technologies. "Sara Lopez embodies our BOWdometer brand by being excellent at her sport, gracious in her victories and defeats and on a constant path of self-improvement."
